FEAR NO MORE!

The other day, someone I care about did something that hurt my feelings. I felt the full impact of fear. My body was heavy, tight and tired. While sitting still with the fear, my mind opened enough for me to realize fear isn’t our natural state of being. It is natural to feel light and buoyant and curious. That shift in awareness allowed me to feel alive and love again.

HOMEWORK:

The next time you feel heavy, can you shed light on what you fear?

How can you bring yourself back to your natural state of being – – alive and loving?

Joyful Release!

You can release the things you are holding onto from your past and, if you are like me, letting go of it was a pull and tug situation. How do you let go “effortlessly” the things that have hurt you? I read recently that you can affirm to joyously release the past. I had never thought of that as a possibility, but I do now! The benefit is you are also able to affirm “I am at peace”!

Homework:

Do you want to hold on to your past or be at peace?

Do you wish to be joy filled or dismayed on your life’s journey?

May Miracles

The winter wilderness is transforming into emerald green grass and sun-kissed yellow daffodils that are swaying merrily in the spring wind. Nature in May is full of miracles born out of change.

Constant movement is all around us in nature and our lives. May you have the courage of the returning birds to live loudly, the wisdom of a deeply rooted tree to make decisions wisely, and the curiosity of a toddler to get through spring and into summer.

Homework Assignment:

What three miracles in your life can you smile about?

You Matter

You Matter

You matter. You are worthy to be heard. You matter. You are here for a reason. You matter. You

are uniquely qualified to be your best you. You matter.

I am not trying to be redundant. I am trying to remind you of a basic truth that gets buried by the

time we are four years old. You matter. Let yourself say it aloud, “I matter.” If tears spring to your

eyes, it’s okay. Tears are a release. Let it cleanse your disbelief. Your soul is happy you are

remembering, you matter. And once you understand that you matter, you can look at other

people who are the walking wounded and remind them that they matter.

Can you remind yourself several times a day, that you matter?

How would you feel if you helped another lost soul remember that they matter?

Can you agree to listen to someone, as if they matter?
